Bowl with folds

There is a peculiar parallel between clothing fabric and porcelain. This fascinates me and I work again and again in this context. The piece does not need color, as the effect of light and shadow results in different shades of color. The salt firing continues to produce slight beige-orange tones, and a strong shine. The glaze on the inside of the vessel has a lively speckle due to iron and ash residues. The vessel takes on a sculptural appearance
Through the folds, while the patches, decorated with small stitches of the needle, underline the textile character and repeat the shape as graphic details.
