The work is a reproduction of an entire thistle plant supported by a new molding process. Through the active/passive difference in the Chinese to English translation of the idiom of "Bai Hua Qi Fang"，the author draws on the extremely short life cycle of the organism under the influence of nature to allude to the volatility of the existence behind the work.
