Silent Flowerbomb

If you're on the outside, looking inside, what do you see? I see reflections and emotions. The porcelain is a medium that allows me to express what perceptions, feelings and experiences in everyday life. Through porcelain, impressions can be translated through the artworks. Observations from real life like happiness, sunsets, rainy days, and landscapes all find their way into the artworks. The titles are links to personal memories. Inspiration of the flowers in an English country castle was used to create a series of flowerbombs. The Silent Flowerbomb piece is made in black and white nerikomi (inlaid) porcelain. It is fired in an electric kiln at 1250 celcius.
