Old Town Deep in Vegetation 「Excellence Prize」

The city is once the dream home which a generation eager to blend in, but now is the place where many people leave with their memories and hopes destroyed. I grew up in city and already accustomed to her "changing
face". Until the area where I lived in my childhood is also listed as a
"reconstruction" area, I suddenly realized that I had lost my connection with the past. We have been trying to pursue and constantly lose. Steel grating is the basic element of buildings, and soil is a garment standing and fading away there without emotion. What I want to express in my work is this process of extinction too. What fascinates me most in this work is the involvement of fire which directly changes the characteristics of steel.
