Black Form 1

I was inspired by the exotic environment in Oslo and collected elements from surrounding that I had never used, seen or eaten. What interests me the most is that the unfamiliar Norwegian characters — Å, Ø and Æ; compared with English letters, they are given elements of circle, slash, symmetry and antisymmetric, which are utilized into my recent art practice. Meanwhile, I reshape the element by using memories and create combination sculpture of several forms; solid shapes interact with each other in the air, which composes a rhythmic structure.
