Void stack
The work uses plain white porcelain clay as paper and quenches the flexible clay sheets into eternity at high temperature of 1230℃. Press the porcelain clay to make the texture folds of paper, so that the hard porcelain can shed the soul of paper in high temperature. The stacked porcelain folds form a cell membrane-like biological rhythm and a spatial matrix of deconstructive architecture in the flowing lines, weaving abstract artifact outlines in the void. Pure white porcelain rejects any color modification, and the shadow cast by the folds interprets the mysterious state of "existence or not" in the negative shape, and the faint shadow dances between the white space, performing a metaphysical silent drama of porcelain and paper, hardness and softness, fleeting and eternity. In the moment when the paper is sealed in the eternal state of porcelain, the world is overlapped with the vast world in the realm of emptiness and white.
