Happy Delusion

What I am looking for in art cannot be found on the surface. It is necessary to dig deep within ourselves and persistently search for what is unique. This is how an individual recognizable language and expression is formed. For me, art consists of creating objects that have a formula of their own and speak their own language, creating a dialogue that did not exist before. My preoccupation with my work is constant—it occupies me while jogging, cycling, watching a movie, or before sleeping as a “pillow note. While working I play with perception and with the belief in what we see. I am traveling optically into depth through space and time, through rolls of paper, pyramids, clouds, cubes, passing from one plane to another, climbing the ladder of perspective illusions, losing the ground beneath my feet. This can lead to a new world of multilevel hierarchies into infinity and to the realization that our reality is only one of many formal systems. The illusion of perception is a lesson and an invitation to avoid or disassemble a logical system. Like moving on a spiral without knowing whether we are making rounds toward the center or moving away from it. ” This process often leads to unexpected results that sometimes surprise even me. This particular work is 4 part composition and all parts are slip cased from the same plaster mould. The form was cut and some parts added
