The work is in the shape of a circular ring, entirely white with a warm and gentle luster. It has a flat base that allows it to stand steadily on a display platform. Made from the traditional Ding Kiln porcelain clay native to Quyang County, Hebei Province, it is coated with the classic ivory-white glaze of Ding Kiln and fired at a high temperature of 1300 degrees Celsius in an oxidizing atmosphere.
