Inbetween
The porcelain project “inbetween” embodies two deconstructions: Practically, I deconstructed the basic geometric form of a cylinder by cutting and rearranging its parts. Theoretically, I deconstructed the difference between Design and Art through the new composition of the geometric cylinder, so that its purity and function can be questioned. Moving from design-induced clarity to art-minded interpretability, the pieces appeal their users but leave them in the dazzling limbo between Art and Design.
