Motion

Inspiration for Motion art work was a sentence of Albert Einstein that I once heard and it stayed with me, to paraphrase: "Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance you must keep moving." I try to represent various moments of motion combining porcelain and light. By recreating the imprints of motion on the surface of porcelain combined with the light I wanted to reconstruct the impression of the movement on a static porcelain surface. Light here gives a depth and liveliness of the whole experience.
