Froth
In my work I try to find the natural appearance of things; sea foam, porous rocks abraded by the wind, the iron inclusions in the rock, sharp shadows of the architecture, the smell of wet earth. They are feelings that I want to transfer to my work through a direct and free approach from every virtuosity. I always try to respect the naturalness of the material used and try to get harmony with a subtraction. I like to create compositional balance through discrete volumes, line joints, rough and wrinkle surfaces, free corrosion, abrasions and nuances of oxides. With all this, I want to suggest my vision of life, far from extemporaneous suggestions, but sensitive to the true nature of things.
