Remains of Mountain and River 「First Prize」

The porcelains are presented in a unique visual form with the use of honeycomb ceramic wastes, the structure of collage techniques is to interpret the constantly vanishing of city landscapes. In the era of industrialization, the city is a symbol of civilization, as well as a product of the split between man and nature. Every step forward to the civilization is a step back to the nature. People try to create the natural landscapes for the city, but the disappearing landscapes will eventually vanish, leaving only the remains of the mountain and river.
